Chemistry of Natural and Biodegradable Polymers

This course is an introduction to natural and biodegradable polymers for third-year students. In this course, students will study: 

(1) the degradation of polymers and methods to increase life-time of plastic goods; 

(2) methods of waste plastic treatments; 

(3) the natural/synthetic biodegradable polymers and their applications.
