Materials
Astronomy is designed to meet the scope and sequence requirements of one- or two-semester introductory astronomy courses. The book begins with relevant scientific fundamentals and progresses through an exploration of the solar system, stars, galaxies, and cosmology. The Astronomy textbook builds student understanding through the use of relevant analogies, clear and non-technical explanations, and rich illustrations. Mathematics is included in a flexible manner to meet the needs of individual instructors.
In this module we have 20 slides for 9 lecture classes + 3 Practical works (+ 1 Home work). Along with the lectures, students are required to perform their presentation skill with various activities.

Exam instruction
This test is aimed at reviewing what you've learnt during studying the module SA 2.1 Introduction to Astronomy. Please read carefully these following instructions:
The test format is a set of multiple choice questions. Student must progress through the quiz in order and may not return to previous pages nor skip ahead.
There are 50+5 questions with 0.4 points each, and the maximum grade is cut at 20 over 22.
The test will be taken in a duration of 50 minutes, starting from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., Monday, December 26th, 2022.
When it ran out of time, all your answers will be submitted automatically.
If you join the exam late, you'll waste your exam time from the beginning. The test will be closed exactly at 10:30 anyway.
Materials are not allowed, including the internet. But be careful with the time: there is only about 1 minute per question.
All the questions are suffered and different between students. They are picked randomly from the question bank, so at the same time, non the question amongs students are the same.
This test is taken online via Moodle and will be unsupervised, but please respect yourself by taking the exam seriously without the help of anyone else.
Please make sure that you have stable internet connectivity in the computer room 503.
