Dr. Nguyen T. Hong Van holds a PhD in 2011 from the University of Paris Diderot and IRFU, CEA (Commissariat à l’énergie atomique) in Saclay, France for her studies in experimental high energy physics with the ATLAS-LHC experiment. She is a distinguished researcher of the Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology (VAST) and a staff member of the Institute of Physics (VAST). She is also a associate professor and teaching at the University of Science and Technology of Hanoi (Classical Mechanics I - since 2012 and Classical Mechanics II - since 2014) and the Graduate University of Science and Technology (VAST). 

Her fields of research interest include experimental and phenomenological particle physics (neutrino physics, Higgs physics, etc.) and mathematical physics (SUSY, quantum groups, etc.). 

Dr. Hong Van has been also involved in other scientific and education activities, being member of the executive committee of the Vietnam Theoretical Physics Society (VTPS), one of the organizers of different national and international school, workshops and conferences, lecturing at international school such as Vietnam schools of physics (VSOP’s), Vietnam schools on neutrinos (VSON’s) and other particle physics schools (organized in Hanoi, Hue and Quy Nhon), giving invited talks in national and international conferences, etc.
