Thy Ngoc Nguyen

I has been a researcher in University of Science and Technology of Hanoi since April 2016.

I obtained my PhD in Life science in 2016 at TAGC-INSERM U1090 laboratory, University of Aix- Marseille, France. My PhD thesis was: "Identification of the malaria resistant genes in human".

My research mainly focuses on the human genetic variations that involved in inherited diseases. The overall objective is to identify genes, gene networks and their variations involved in the out come of human diseases. The technique combines a positional cloning approach in humans, transcriptomic studies and network analyses.
