Dr LE Thi Van Anh is a lecturer and researcher at University of Science and Technology of Hanoi (USTH), department of Pharmacological, Medical and Agronomical Biotechnology (PMAB). She received her Ph.D. in Plant Biotechnology at University of Montpellier 2, France. Her Ph.D. was funded by a scholarship from Vietnamese government. She currently teaches Plant Physiology and Plant biotechnology in Bachelor levels.
Her research field is plant biotechnology, focusing on plant cell biotechnology to increase the raw material as well as the bioactive compound in the medicinal plants. Her current research is to study the hairy root induction in Paramignya trimera (Xáo tam phân) by Agrobactetium rhizogenes mediated transformation.
