Hien Phan

Dr. Hien PHAN is a lecturer and researcher at the Department of Space and Applications, University of Science and Technology of Hanoi (USTH). He received his Ph.D. in Physics of the Universe at Université Paris Diderot (Paris VII, Université de Paris) in 2019. 

In 2015, he obtained his Master's degree in Space and Applications at USTH, and in 2011 the Engineer's degree in Electrical Engineering, majoring in Automation and Measurement, at Danang University of Technology (DUT).

He is the Founder and an Administrator of Vật Lý Thiên Văn (VLTV), the biggest Amateur Community of Space Science and Technology in Vietnam. The VLTV Facebook’s fanpage currently has more than 100k followers, and its website has about 20k active users monthly. VLTV is also developing its Youtube channel.

Dr. Hien PHAN is actively in organizing stargazing events and involved in many STEM activities of the Knowledge Incubator Club (KIC) of which he is one of the founder members.
